~Letters to Jesus~

Dear Jesus,
You save me.
Over and over I reach out to you and yet I become so strangely fearful. I lose hope as a leaf blows in the wind. As humanity harms me you are there to hold my hand. In humanities name I push you away. I am ashamed and still you hold onto my undeserving hand. You truly are rich in so much mercy. You know me to be a forgetful fool who needs you with definitive need and absolute desperation.
So I write you this note to say thank you for continually saving me. I choose you in every moment of clarity. In each dark lit space of mind I scream to be redeemed. You are my heaven and eternal reward. I use this word reward as though to say I deserve anything. I fully admit that I do not. You grant the light to shine on my broken and sutured heart.
You are the great strength I reach out to. You are the only one who is able to save. I push through the crowded and noisy just to touch you.
Remember me.
